a. Monti Maria is a poet and public educator. They are the author of Cool Butch with Pooches Nineteeneightynine (Belladonna*) and facilitate workshops on archival research, writing poetry, queer histories and more.  

Monti is based between Berlin and New York City but was born in an elevator in Rome going up to the third floor.
