a.Monti is a cross-disciplinary poet. Their projects span translation, publishing, collaboration, performance, research, radio and pedagogy. They have facilitated seminars and workshops on experimental sound, contemporary poetry, and writing for/from performance. Monti is an Associate Editor at Litmus Press and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn. Their work has been presented across the U.S., U.K., and Europe, including at The Poetry Project St. Marks, the Institute of Contemporary Art London, and the Austrian Cultural Forum. Their writing appears in The Offing, McSweeney’s, ExBerliner, and Montez Press Radio, amongst others.

They are working/living in Berlin and New York City but were born in an elevator in Rome, going up to the third floor.
