a. Monti Maria is a poet, public educator and translator. They are the author of Cool Butch with Pooches Nineteeneightynine (Belladonna*) and facilitate workshops on archival research and experimental poetry. Monti is an Associate Editor at Litmus Press and co-edits the open call smut gazette, Womanwood (CUTT Press).

Monti is based between Berlin and New York City but was born in an elevator in Rome going up to the third floor.
